Privacy Policy

Last updated October 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information inPlace ("inPlace", "we", "us") collects through this website and when we contact you about membership, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us: when you ask about membership, your name, your phone number, and your agreement to our Terms and Conditions (including which version you agreed to and when).

Information about the request: to protect the form from abuse, we store only a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address and browser details with your request or survey. Like most websites, our hosting providers may briefly keep ordinary technical logs that include your internet address.

Survey answers and conversations: whatever you choose to tell us in a Join the Movement survey or our Share your ideas form, including your contact details if you give them. If you talk with one of our founders, with your agreement they may note your answers and what you tell them. Only share what you are comfortable sharing.

Messages: if we text you, we keep a record of the messages we send and receive and whether they were delivered, including any request to stop.

If you become a member, your Concierge Manager will collect further information needed to provide the service, with your agreement, and will explain it to you at that time.

Surveys

Our Join the Movement surveys and Share your ideas form are inPlace's own forms. Your answers are stored by inPlace in a separate database used only to plan inPlace, kept apart from the records of anyone who becomes a member. While you fill in a form, your answers are saved in your browser so you don't lose them if the page closes; they are removed when you submit, and you can clear them yourself at any time. We use your answers to understand what people need and to shape inPlace. We study them in summary form, without names or contact details, using reporting tools. If you later become a member, we don't copy your survey answers into your member record; your Concierge Manager will ask for what is needed, with your agreement.

How we use it

To contact you about your membership inquiry by phone or text, to provide and improve our services, to keep records of consent and communications, to keep the website and our systems secure and prevent misuse, and to meet our legal obligations.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with others for their own marketing. We do not share your mobile number or your agreement to receive texts with third parties for their marketing. The public website does not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run inPlace, such as website hosting, secure database and storage, reporting tools that show us summaries without names or contact details, text-message delivery, error and performance monitoring, and AI services that help our staff draft messages and summarize records, only so they can provide those services to us and under obligations to protect it.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the safety of any person, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.

Cookies

The public website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. We use only the cookies needed for the site to work, such as keeping staff signed in and securing one-time links we send to members. A form you are filling in may keep your unfinished answers in your browser's own storage until you submit or clear them.

Text messages

Reply STOP to a text from inPlace to stop texts from that number. We honor the request straight away and keep a record of it so we do not text you again by mistake. For help, contact us at Vivek Krishnaswamy (vivek@inplacenh.org).

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry, consent and message records, including after you stop hearing from us, so that we have an accurate record of what you agreed to and of any request to stop contacting you, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations.

How we protect it

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections and access limited to authorized staff. No system is completely secure.

Your choices

You can ask us to stop contacting you, or ask what information we hold about you, by contacting us at Vivek Krishnaswamy (vivek@inplacenh.org). We keep a record of your request and of what you agreed to, as described above.

You can ask us to remove your name, contact details and written answers from our survey records.

Children

Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
